Sixth Wave Jazz Web address www.6thwave.com Location USA, Band members Band birthday More information Sixth Wave is a jazz/rock/pop a cappella sextet from the Los Angeles area performing an eclectic mix of material, from Oingo Boingo to Yma Sumak, from jazz standards to Earth Wind & Fire, as well as several originals. The group won the national a cappella competition, the National Harmony Sweepstakes, in 2001, and has performed concerts with groups such as The Swingle Singers, Rockapella, and The Bobs. In October 2003, Sixth Wave performed at the star-studded gala opening of the dazzling Walt Disney Concert Hall.
